You've been putting your own care last.

Migraine noticed.

Tired of wondering if the storm is rolling in today?

6 weeks, a small group, and a plan that fits in the life you already have — not one you have to build around it.

There's a good chance you're already doing what you were told. Maybe you're on a preventative. Maybe you've got abortives in your bag at all times. And you're still having attacks — because medication interrupts an attack once it starts, but it doesn't change how susceptible you are to one in the first place.

That susceptibility comes down to your threshold. You have migraine whether or not you're currently in pain — it's the underlying pattern, not just the bad days. An attack happens when stressors exceed your nervous system's capacity to compensate for them, and it goes into a full-blown meltdown. Medication treats the meltdown. It was never intended to raise your capacity to compensate in the first place.

That's not a failure on your part, and it's not a sign medication is wrong for you. It's a missing piece nobody told you about: you can raise your own threshold, so it takes more to tip you into an attack. Some people who do that work go months between attacks instead of days.

If You're New Here, This Might Sound Familiar

I don't believe you need to overhaul your life to get your migraines under control. I believe the plan has to fit inside the life you already have, or it won't survive contact with a real week.

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all protocols. I believe in teaching you to see your own pattern — the one only you have enough data to notice.

I don't believe your body is broken. I believe you've been putting yourself last for good reasons, and migraine is just where it's showing up first.

How It Works

Most migraine advice chases triggers one at a time — the thing you ate, the weather, the stress at work — as if any single cause is the culprit. Your threshold works differently: it's your nervous system's capacity to compensate for everything stacking up before it goes into a full-blown attack. Read the full mechanism →

← Back to Understanding Your Migraine

Raise your capacity, and the attacks have less room to start. Taught across six weeks, with real mechanism behind every part of it — never just "try this and see."

What You’ll Work On

Six weeks, one topic building on the last:

  • Interoception: Learning to Listen — your body sends signals long before an attack starts. This builds the skill of actually catching them, which is the raw data every root-cause change depends on

  • Nervous System Science — why your threshold sits where it does, and what's actually happening physiologically when stress, sensory input, or hormonal shifts push you toward an attack

  • Nutrition — blood sugar swings and nutrient gaps are two of the most common, most fixable drivers of a lowered threshold. This is where you learn what your body's actually running on

  • Sleep and Movement — sleep is when your brain clears out the day's inflammatory buildup, and movement shapes your nervous system's baseline reactivity. Two of the most underused levers you have

  • Hormones and Detox — estrogen, cortisol, and thyroid function all shift your threshold in ways most people never get explained, alongside how well your body's actually clearing what it needs to clear

  • Integration: Building Your Path Forward — turning six weeks of changes into something that keeps working on its own, long after the program ends

What's Included:

  • 6 live weekly sessions, plus an optional 4-week extension if you want to keep going deeper

  • 1 individual 1:1 integration session with me — after the program ends, to make sure you leave with what you need, or a clear next step if you need more support

  • 15 minutes here and there, sized for the time you have, not the time you wish you had

  • Every session recorded — miss a week, no penalty, pick back up whenever you land

  • A small group, kept intentionally intimate

  • 6 months of access, so you're never locked to a schedule

Led by Dr. Brenna Erickson, DC — functional medicine practitioner and the only DNFT-certified provider in Minnesota — alongside Dr. Michele Renee, DC, MAc, LMT, founder of Stockheart Whole Health. The curriculum has been reviewed by a physician for clinical accuracy, and the coaching-based model is backed by research on coaching as an effective intervention for migraine outcomes.

Next cohort: September 9th – October 14th

Enrollment closes September 2nd — one week before we start, so everyone's fully onboarded before session one.

Results From Our Founding Cohort

We're early — this program launched with a small founding group, taught closely and personally. Here's what two of them had to say.

“I have always thought of myself as a resilient person. I have spent years developing practices that allow me to perform at my best when life gets hard. The Migraine Resilience Academy expanded my vocabularly enourmously. I have more tools, more understanding, and I feel like I have more control over my migraines.”

— Jessica, 47, paralegal

"I joined this group not knowing or realizing the benefits it would bring. I didn’t realize the self-love and tenderness it would allow me to see myself in. I imagined educational content and action steps that might help, but might not fully apply to me. This group has been supportive, helpful, educational and has made a noticable impact on my life."

— Sarah, 37, parent of two
